In May 2018, Dr. Paul W. Layer was appointed Vice President for Academics, Students & Research after serving in an interim role since November 2017.  In that capacity, he oversees academic and research programs for the University of Alaska system, which has three accredited universities: 澳门六合彩开奖appAnchorage, 澳门六合彩开奖appFairbanks and 澳门六合彩开奖appSoutheast. In addition, he serves as the co-chair of the Alaska State Committee for Research.
