Interim °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±appPresident Pat Pitney has named John Boucher as interim chief information technology officer (CITO) for the University of Alaska. Boucher succeeds current CITO Mark Kondrak who has resigned effective Nov. 1, 2020.

Gretchen Gordon named KUAC general manager

Gretchen Gordon has been chosen to serve as KUAC's next general manager. Gordon has worked for KUAC TV 9/FM 89.9 since 2003, first as director of development and outreach, then as assistant general manager in 2011.

Eckert appointed Alaska Sea Grant director

Ginny L. Eckert was appointed director for Alaska Sea Grant earlier this month by Provost and Executive Vice Chancellor Anupma Prakash. Eckert served as acting and interim director of Alaska Sea Grant from 2019 to 2020 and as associate director of Alaska Sea Grant from 2013 to 2019.

Raymond Weber appointed interim dean of UAA Community & Technical College

Following an internal search process, Dr. Raymond Weber, Aviation Technology faculty member, has agreed to step into the role of interim dean for UAA Community & Technical College (CTC). Ray will serve for two years and we will conduct a national search for the permanent dean in academic year 2021-2022.
