PUBLIC NOTICE
The University of Alaska Land Management Office (UALM) is seeking public comment on
the attached disposal plan to execute a land use permit at a negotiated rate on University
of Alaska land.
Parties interested in commenting on this disposal plan must submit written comments
to UALM by fax at (907)786-7733, by email at ua-land@alaska.edu, or at the address
listed below by now later than 5:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 11, 2024, to be considered.

Development & Disposal Plan
The University of Alaska (鈥淯niversity鈥) intends to execute a land use permit authorizing
the temporary use of University land as a drive-thru coffee stand including a small
storage structure. The coffee stand will be located within the parking lot of Chukchi
Campus building in Kotzebue, Alaska. The permit will be a one-year term with a one-year
extension option at a negotiated rate, which may be less than fair market value in
light of the tangible benefit to the Chukchi Campus community from the increased security
to be provided by the cameras the permittee intends to install at the site.
This disposal plan is effective as long as the University owns the parcel
