Board of Regents to hold two audio public testimony sessions 

WHO: University of Alaska Board of Regents, university stakeholders.

WHAT: Alaskans will have an opportunity to offer feedback directly to the Board of Regents on issues facing the University of Alaska including possible solutions to meeting the budget gap due to reduced state funding, impacts of COVID-19 and declining enrollment. 

Public testimony provides for public input in advance of the committee meetings on May 27, 28, 29 and the full board meeting on June 4-5. These meetings can be streamed at . 

Alaskans can also provide written testimony anytime by emailing ua-bor@alaska.edu. Written testimony is shared with the Board of Regents and President Jim Johnsen.

  • May 26, 2020 from 4-6 p.m.
  • June 2, 2020 from 4-6 p.m.
