Randy Braby joins UAS Office of Equity and Compliance

Randy Braby has joined the University of Alaska Southeast as Director of the Office of Equity and Compliance. Braby assumed this position on May 5 of this year. 

This position involves directing the functions of the Office of Equity and Compliance for UAS (all campuses) including Title IX coordination, Clery support, federal and state employment and safety compliance. 

Before taking this position, Braby served as Risk Manager, Title IX Coordinator, Executive Director of HR and Director of HR at a number of organizations. 

Braby was born in Waukesha, Wisconsin and has lived in New Jersey, Texas, Idaho, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Utah and New Hampshire throughout his life. 

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Brigham Young University, a Master of Arts in Learning and Technology, and a Master鈥檚 degree in Business Administration from Western Governors University.

Braby has never lived in Alaska before and looks forward to the new experience. 

Braby has five children from 12-19 years of age. In his free time he enjoys the outdoors, bird and wildlife watching, weather and geomorphology.
